Favorite scripture and why: Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans for welfare, and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” I love this verse because it came to me at a time when I needed it the most and I believe it was a blessing intended for that very time in my life. I was just flipping through the Bible and my eyes happened to land on this particular phrase. I know it wasn’t just coincidence, and it gave me the reassurance and peace of mind I needed at that very moment. Now I look back to it every time I feel the need for hope.
